This 3-day workshop is designed to build participant capability in Generative AI through a structured, bottom-up learning pathway. The program opens with first principles - deep learning fundamentals and the evolution of the modern Generative AI landscape - before progressing to architectural intuition and practical understanding of key model families. These include adversarial approaches for visual synthesis, text-to-image generation approaches and latent workflows, and foundation models that enable text-driven and image-level intelligence across tasks.
Each module blends conceptual grounding with guided demonstrations and hands-on coding, ensuring participants develop both intuition and implementation skills. The schedule further integrates keynote talks, faculty interaction, and research-oriented sessions, fostering inquiry, discussion, and critical thinking. By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped to reason about generative model behaviour, explore application directions, and begin adapting these models to problems in their domains.
